POSITION: Revit / BIM Modeler

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Immediate opening for an experienced Revit Modeler. The candidate should display strong, detailed modelling capabilities. This position assists in the production of Plumbing, Mechanical & Electrical Modeling utilizing Revit MEP software.

JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Production of Plumbing, Mechanical & Electrical drawings utilizing Revit software.

• Follow established BIM standards.

• Maintain drawing quality standards.

• Set up BIM models from architectural and/or structural Revit files and create MEP discipline work sets.

• Collaborate with project managers in a multi-disciplinary MEP design environment.

• Coordinates with architect’s BIM manager when required.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience modeling Plumbing and Mechanical HVAC Systems in Revit.

• Ability to resolve Revit graphic issues.

• Excellent communication skills, written and oral, with peers.

• Outstanding organizational skills and ability to accurate multi-task project deadlines.

• Must have initiative and be resourceful, Motivated self-starter.

• Highly detailed, good analytical mind and great communication skills.

• Ability to work with a team of other designers, engineers and company owners.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD preferred.

• Experience in Autodesk Naviswork is a plus, but not required.

• Proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and Windows 7.
