Structural Designer (Hybrid/Remote)

Our Structural team is responsible for designing, analyzing, and ensuring the integrity of structures across a variety of projects. We work on a diverse range of buildings, infrastructure, and industrial facilities, providing innovative solutions to meet both functional and safety requirements. The team focuses on delivering high-quality structural designs, collaborating with architects, partners, and other engineers to create efficient, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions that adhere to regulatory standards and client specifications.

Your role:

The Designer works with Engineers and Project Managers to prepare complete construction documents and assists during the construction support phase.

• Layout plans, sections and details to specified CAD standards working directly with engineers or project managers.
• Provide direction and distribute work to Technicians.
• Review and back-check the Technician's work.
• Coordinate designs with team members and product vendors.
• Communicate with clients and/or contractors regarding RFI's and field questions.
• Review shop drawings.
• Further develop design skills to support the advancement of technical expertise.
• Attend internal coordination meetings and client coordination meetings.
• May require occasional travel for site observations and field measurements.

Your resume must include:

• Certificate in construction-related design/drafting or higher and at least 3 years of directly related experience.
• OR at least 4 years of directly related experience in lieu of certificate.

Starting Hourly Range: $28.00 - $33.50. A variety of factors are considered when determining an offer including, but not limited to, market data, geographic location, experience, and specialized skills.
