Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. This role will focus on the design and coordination of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems, across a wide range of building types. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about creating efficient, reliable, and sustainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electrical systems for building projects, including lighting, power distribution, emergency systems, and low-voltage systems.
• Prepare construction documents, specifications, and system layouts using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, architectural, and structural teams to ensure integrated designs.
• Perform load calculations, short-circuit analysis, and other technical studies.
• Ensure designs comply with NEC, energy codes, and other applicable standards.
• Support project managers in delivering projects on schedule and within budget.
• Participate in site visits, field inspections, and construction administration tasks.
• Provide technical support and mentorship to junior staff.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (required).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe.
• 3–8+ years of experience in electrical design within an MEP or consulting engineering firm.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and local building codes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit; experience with SKM, ETAP, or similar analysis software a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
