Key Responsibilities:

Design Development: Prepare site plans, landscape designs, planting plans, and construction documents using CAD and other design software.

Project Management: Lead or support landscape architecture projects from concept through construction, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.

Client Interaction: Meet with clients to understand their goals, provide expert advice, and present design proposals.

Site Analysis: Conduct environmental impact studies, site inventories, and land-use assessments.

Collaboration: Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, urban planners, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.

Permitting and Compliance: Ensure designs comply with local zoning laws, environmental regulations, and permitting processes.

Sustainability: Integrate sustainable and low-maintenance solutions into landscape designs, including native plant selection, stormwater management, and green infrastructure.

Construction Oversight: Visit job sites to monitor progress and ensure adherence to design specifications and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program.
- Professional licensure (RLA) or eligibility to become licensed.
- 3–7 years of experience in landscape architecture or related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and/or Lumion; experience with GIS and BIM tools a plus.
- Strong knowledge of horticulture, ecology, and sustainable design principles.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
