Responsibilities

  • Field Crew Leadership:
  • Manage and schedule survey fieldwork operations.
  • Ensure survey procedures and instrumentation procedures are followed.
  • Survey Operations:
  • Processing and correcting conventional and GPS data from Trimble Survey equipment
  • Field map mark up and deed plotting
  • Draft survey maps
  • QA/QC
  • Monitor and manage survey supplies and inventory.
  • Ensure timely submission of crew time logs and mileage records.
  • Track project progress and schedule
  • Reporting & Compliance:
  • Report directly to Project Managers and Senior Management.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to fieldwork.
  • Provide updates on project progress and potential challenges.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years demonstratable experience as a Survey Technician working with processing survey data and correcting survey date, in particular Trimble equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
  • Prior experience in land surveying. Education in land surveying a big plus.
  • Ability to carry up to 40 pounds over uneven terrain.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency with surveying instruments, equipment, and procedures.
  • Valid driver’s license (required).
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions as needed.
