Responsibilities
- Field Crew Leadership:
- Manage and schedule survey fieldwork operations.
- Ensure survey procedures and instrumentation procedures are followed.
- Survey Operations:
- Processing and correcting conventional and GPS data from Trimble Survey equipment
- Field map mark up and deed plotting
- Draft survey maps
- QA/QC
- Monitor and manage survey supplies and inventory.
- Ensure timely submission of crew time logs and mileage records.
- Track project progress and schedule
- Reporting & Compliance:
- Report directly to Project Managers and Senior Management.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to fieldwork.
- Provide updates on project progress and potential challenges.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years demonstratable experience as a Survey Technician working with processing survey data and correcting survey date, in particular Trimble equipment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
- Prior experience in land surveying. Education in land surveying a big plus.
- Ability to carry up to 40 pounds over uneven terrain.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Proficiency with surveying instruments, equipment, and procedures.
- Valid driver’s license (required).
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions as needed.
