Job Overview: As a Revit Drafter specializing in MEP systems, you will play a key role in creating detailed, accurate, and coordinated drawings for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. You will collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and other team members to produce high-quality, well-coordinated Revit models and construction documentation for a variety of building projects. This position requires a strong understanding of Revit software and MEP systems, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and prepare detailed Revit drawings for MEP systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components, based on engineering specifications and design guidelines.
  • Collaborate with MEP engineers to translate project requirements into accurate and constructible Revit models.
  • Coordinate MEP systems with architectural and structural elements to ensure compatibility and efficiency.
  • Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts within the Revit model, ensuring that designs are free from errors and meet project requirements.
  • Review and interpret project specifications, drawings, and other technical documents to ensure compliance with building codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining project documentation, including equipment schedules, specifications, and design calculations.
  • Support the preparation of submittals, RFIs (Requests for Information), and change orders as needed.
  • Maintain and update Revit families and libraries for MEP components, ensuring they are in accordance with industry standards and project requirements.
  • Participate in project coordination meetings and collaborate with the project team to address design or drawing issues.
  • Ensure timely delivery of design models and drawings, meeting project deadlines and client expectations.


Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
