Our client is seeking a Senior Architect in their Nashville TN, Knoxville TN and Duluth GA offices. Projects will predominantly include public facilities (recreation, community, infrastructure and civic), residential and commercial projects across the eastern half of the United States. Responsible for designing and reviewing the construction of buildings and other structures. Working with clients to understand their needs and develop designs that meet those needs, while taking into account building codes, regulations, and other considerations. Also involved in reviewing construction projects and performing inspections to ensure that projects are completed to specification.

Minimum qualifications for the position include:

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Architecture.
• Architectural license in state of practice or current NCARB certification
• Ideal candidate will have completed an internship in a professional office and have 8-15 years of professional experience.
• Ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of construction materials, construction detailing, grading, construction layout materials and common construction document development for commercial and public projects.
• Ideal candidate will be able to coordinate with other design disciplines and have skills in client interaction
• Must be proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and/or other graphics software.
