We are currently seeking a Electrical Engineer to join our growing team in our Alpharetta, GA location. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on complex, mission critical projects, industrial work and contribute to innovative, resilient designs that shape the built environment.

What You’ll Do:

Design power distribution, lighting and controls, backup power (UPS/generators), and renewable energy systems with a strength in mission critical environments (e.g., data centers, secure facilities) and life science. Handle project coordination, technical calculations, site surveys and client management.

  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and system schematics.
  • Develop sketches and technical documentation for complex power systems.
  • Guide junior engineers and designers in the layout of electrical systems.
  • Attend project and client meetings, collaborating with owners, architects, and developers.
  • Prepare technical reports, write feasibility studies, prepare cost estimates and specifications and code compliance documentation.
  • Review submittals, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Conduct site visits, construction inspections, and punch list observations.
  • Stay current with building codes, trends, and mission critical standards.

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical or architectural engineering (ABET-accredited).
  • A minimum of 2 years of electrical systems design experience building technology in building technology
  • Experience designing systems for mission critical, life science, commercial, or institutional projects.
  • Solid understanding of applicable building, electrical and energy codes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team player with a proactive, hands-on approach.
  • Experience mentoring junior staff

Preferred:

  • PE license (or ability to obtain).
  • 5-10 years’ experience with data enter / mission critical power distribution experience
  • LEED, WELL, or other industry certifications.
  • Working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Experience with data centers
  • Project management experience, including team coordination and client communications.
  • Ability to travel for occasional site visits.
