Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer with a background in plumbing, HVAC, or process piping. This role supports the planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical construction projects across institutional, healthcare, laboratory, and industrial sectors. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to ensuring project safety, quality, and performance.
Responsibilities
- Support the safety, quality, and profitability of assigned projects.
- Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain project schedules.
- Assist in preparing and managing project budgets, timelines, and quality control plans.
- Participate in meetings with clients, general contractors, engineers, and other project stakeholders.
- Review drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Track project progress, document changes, and assist with RFIs and change orders.
- Maintain effective communication between project management, field teams, and clients.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical construction, specifically plumbing, HVAC, or process piping.
- Experience with institutional, healthcare, or industrial projects preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and field coordination.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and construction management software.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
