Currently Hiring a Mechanical Professional Engineer (PE) with specialized experience in laboratory and clean room environments. Join a Boulder-based design-build team and lead the delivery of high-performance mechanical systems for clean room and laboratory projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead mechanical system design for HVAC, hydronic, and process piping systems
• Serve as Engineer of Record; stamp and seal construction documents
• Coordinate with in-house and external design disciplines (architectural, electrical, structural)
• Ensure compliance with building codes, ISO cleanroom standards, ASHRAE, and GMP guidelines
• Perform system sizing, equipment selection, and detailed design calculations
• Conduct site evaluations, system assessments, and field inspections during construction
• Collaborate with clients, project managers, and construction teams from concept through completion

Required Qualifications:

• Licensed Mechanical PE (Colorado or ability to obtain within 3 months)
• 5+ years of mechanical design experience, including multiple lab and clean room projects
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and load calculation software (e.g., Trane Trace, HAP)
• Strong understanding of HVAC design for controlled environments (airflow, pressure differentials, filtration, energy efficiency)
• Knowledge of applicable codes and standards (ASHRAE, IBC, ISO 14644, GMP)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, or aerospace facilities
• Background in fast-track or design-build project delivery
• LEED accreditation or familiarity with sustainable design practices
