About the Role:


Seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our growing team in Fort Worth. In this role, you will take on key responsibilities for the design and management of large-scale projects, including performing quality control (QC) tasks and mentoring of other staff.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and technical development of electrical systems for a wide range of project types, including high-rises, industrial facilities, manufacturing, industrial plants, commercial spaces, and more.
  • Perform comprehensive quality control for design work produced by others, ensuring compliance with standards, codes, and client requirements.
  • Mentor junior engineers and designers, guiding system design, Revit modeling, and other engineering best practices.
  • Actively contribute to the development and optimization of internal tools, methods, and standards, particularly within Revit, to streamline design processes and enhance team efficiency.
  • Participate in internal design reviews, technical discussions, and “lunch & learn” sessions aimed at fostering continuous learning and team collaboration.
  • Provide leadership and oversight in construction administration, including field inspections, responding to RFIs, handling change orders, and issuing bulletins and addenda.
  • Support the development of specifications, system narratives, electrical calculations, fault current analysis, and other engineering documentation.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) industry, with a strong background in electrical engineering design.
  • Extensive experience with Revit and a passion for process improvement within Revit, including the development of custom tools, methods, and procedures.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, load calculations, fault current analysis, and relevant codes and standards (NEC, NFPA, etc.).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of quality and client satisfaction.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to mentor and collaborate with team members at all levels.
  • Prior experience in data centers, aerospace, high-rise, healthcare, commercial, or industrial building types is preferred.


Preferred Experience:

  • Proficiency in developing Revit tools, system coordination, and spatial planning within Revit to optimize the modeling and design process.
  • Knowledge and experience with complex electrical systems such as mission-critical, industrial, or defense projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and manage client relationships effectively.
