Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Plumbing Designer-Engineer in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The Plumbing Designer-Engineer will be responsible for designing and creating detailed plumbing, drain, waste, and vent systems for a wide range of commercial, residential, and industrial facilities. The role requires working with other design and engineering professionals to create integrated building designs, and to coordinate and communicate with the project teams to ensure project completion within budget and schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in plumbing design and engineering for commercial and industrial buildings
• Familiarity with plumbing codes and standards, such as IPC, UPC and ASPE
• Proficiency in plumbing design software, such as AutoCAD and Revit
• Familiarity with design and construction documentation, such as drawings and specifications
• Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and practices
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment, and to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients
