Responsibilities

The Survey Party Chief supervises a field survey party to define land boundaries and analyze spatial data supporting registered land surveyors and civil engineers on a variety of public and municipal projects. They possess the knowledge of land surveying principles and practices and are responsible for the effective performance, training, and safety of all members of a field survey party.

.Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional land surveying experience
• High school diploma or GED minimum
• Must have a valid driver’s license, a good driving record and the ability to obtain security clearance
• Must have the physical ability to work outdoors in all weather for extended periods of time and be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to travel and work on projects throughout North Carolina and the surrounding states
